Join us for our First Ever Morning Opening
On Saturday, August 4th at 10:00 am, you are invited to the opening of “All Clay - A Sculptural and Functional Pottery Show” at Gallery by the Bay in Stanwood. The show features works by members of the Cascade Clay Artists and other ceramic artists from the area.
“We thought it would be fun to have a morning Opening at the Gallery during the annual Stanwood Camano Fair Parade,” commented gallery owner Gayle Picken. “Our visitors can have coffee and pastries and enjoy front row viewing of the parade that starts at 11:00″
Artist demonstrations will begin in the gallery starting at Noon. Pamela Mummy of Edmonds will demonstrate throwing on her wheel. Pamela is known for her “Vases with Faces” series where each vace has it’s own personality and character.
Rose Moore of Camano Island will also be at the gallery giving demonstrations. Rose is known for her pit-fired stoneware and will show lidded vessels, vases, and lamps.
The show continues through August 19th. Hours are Tuesday through Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm.
