This month we’re featuring colorful paintings by Andrea Lawson from her “Rite of Spring” series, new tango paintings by Willow Bader and a selection of prints and originals from Tom Jensen.

Andrea Lawson’s colorful paintings and pastels are inspired by the images and dances from the ballet “The Rite of Spring” (or Le Sacre du Printemps, as it is called in French.)

Her succulent paintings feature abstracted shapes and expressionist forms of dancers leaping through nature. “I love to move paint in vibrant gestures across the canvas,” says Lawson, “I create voluptuous layers inspired by dance and the lines and forms of the human body.”

Note: The Gallery will be CLOSED on Sunday, March 23rd for Easter.
