On Thursday, July 17th, more than 200 people attended the opening reception of the Stanwood - Camano Island Plein Air Invitational at the downtown Stanwood Art Walk. Saturday brought plentiful sunshine, and our artists felt the effects of the heat. Donning broad-brimmed hats and gobs of sunscreen, they set off to find the perfect spot for painting.
