| Fused Glass Jewelry with Patti Pontikis — No experience necessary
Learn to make a fused glass pendant. This
fun 2 hour workshop will teach you the technique of designing, cutting
and grinding glass to form a pendant . We begin by using soft glass
(Bullseye) as the base material for your piece, then adding shards of
colorful “dichroic” glass to complete your design. No experience is
necessary. (class is limited to 8 students)
Cost: $35 per session includes material. All supplies, tools, and kiln time included.

Subjects will include the natural landscape-rocks, trees, fields, still life, flowers, coastal scenes, water, buildings-both full views and close-up studies, with helpful handouts on techniques and design. Each series is different throughout the year. Returning students are welcome.
The development of each student's personal painting style is encouraged in an atmosphere of creativity and fun. Weekly demonstrations are featured, with Michele sharing some "tricks and cheating ways" to add to your growing arsenal of watercolor techniques. Many artists in the area are familiar with Michele's teaching style, as she taught through Skagit Valley College Extended Learning program at the Camano Senior Services Center for 12 years.
