Cabin Reservations: Call the park at (360) 387-1550 Camano Island State Park is a 134-acre camping park with 6,700 feet of rocky shoreline and beach, located 14 miles southwest of Stanwood. Reservations: Call the park at (360) 387-1550. The Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission celebrated its grand opening of Cama Beach State Park on June 21, 2008. The new state park is on the southwest shore of Camano Island facing Saratoga Passage. Cama Beach offers visitors a chance to step back in time to a 1930s-era Puget Sound fishing resort complete with waterfront cedar cabins and bungalows. These have been refurbished, with modern conveniences added, and are available for rent year round to individuals and groups. Cama Beach also offers a beachside bungalow for rent.
Cama Beach features standard and deluxe cabins situated near the beach with spectacular views of Saratoga Passage, Whidbey Island and the Olympic Mountains.
