Image designs such as birds and foliage. I can look at almost anything and get a design idea. I’ve been inspired by the great bird illustrators, particularly Gould, Singer, and Louis Agassiz Fuertes. Audubon’s illustrations have less appeal to me as his birds are generally in unnatural poses. Mostly, I get my ideas from nature. I always carry a camera with we walk or hike. I often take pictures from my dining room window.
